Chaim Counseling Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, rooted in Jewish values, offering a wide range of affordable services to support individuals, teens, couples, and families. Our services include telehealth sessions and in-person therapy, guided by the Jewish principles of compassion, dignity, and faith to help you navigate life's challenges. Our name is inspired by the life of Chaim Meir Lieberman, who dedicated all his days to the service of others.

Supporting the people who support everyone else. Our Shluchim Mentors program connects Shluchim families with experienced clinicians who understand shlichus, providing confidential mentorship, and emotional support.

Shluchim Mentors
Shluchim families dedicate their lives to strengthening Jewish communities around the world, often serving in isolated locations with unique personal and professional challenges. Our Shluchim Mentors program connects Shluchim families with experienced, licensed mentors who understand the realities of shlichus firsthand.
Through confidential guidance, emotional support, and practical insight, we help ensure that those who care for others also have someone to care for them.

Chaim is made possible by licensed clinicians, community rabbis, and decades of combined experience in therapy, pastoral work, and human service.
Yaffa Rosner
25+ years supporting individuals and families through anxiety, depression, loss, parenting challenges including special needs, divorce coaching, and blended family dynamics. A steady and deeply experienced clinical presence.
Bluma Marcus
Two decades leading Chabad of Los Alamitos. MSW from Wurzweiler. Supports individuals from children through seniors. Known throughout the community for her integrity, steadiness, and depth of care.
Lena Balakhaneh
Focuses on grief, gerontology, and palliative care. Background in psychology and behavioral health. Yeshiva University gerontology certification.
Dahlia Yoskowitz
Whole-person, integrative therapy. Cornell undergraduate, Yeshiva University Wurzweiler MSW. Brings a wide lens and deep clinical training.
Shira Mordecai
Psychology background focused on teens and young adults. Culturally responsive and compassionate in supporting young people navigating difficulty.
Rabbi Levi Blesofsky
20+ years experience. MSW and EMDR trained. Trauma work across hospitals, correctional facilities, and community centers. Clinical rigor and pastoral depth in equal measure.
Rabbi Shmuel Marcus
Rabbi at Chabad of Los Alamitos. 20+ years working with children, teens, seniors, and families. The community heart of Chaim's development work.
Rabbi Moshe Lieberman
Rabbi Moshe Lieberman is a Rav in the Boston community, a member of the Boston Beth Din, and the Director of Chabad of Newton Centre.
Dr. Lawrence Blum
41-year career in police and firefighter psychology. Pioneer of peer support programs. PTSD specialist. Brings national-caliber clinical advisory depth to Chaim.
